Top Three Places for Tacos in Citrus Park and Carrollwood FL

If you're in the Citrus Park or Carrollwood area and craving some tacos, you might feel overwhelmed by the wide variety of places to eat. There are lots of options in the area to choose from, but your Chiropractor in Citrus Park and Carrollwood is going to share with you my top three picks so that you don't need to waste time scrolling through Google when you're hungry and need to satisfy that taco craving fast! Each of these places are unique from each other and offer different tastes and styles, so that you can easily choose which one you're feeling the next time Taco Tuesday rolls around.

My first pick would have to be Tijuana Flats, located in the Publix shopping plaza off North Dale Mabry in Carrollwood. Tijuana Flats offers quick Mexican fare, but it's definitely a step up from the fast food chains.  All items on the menu are made to order, so you're always getting a fresh meal. If you're experiencing some mixed cravings, you can add a taco to any entrée for just $3. They also make an amazing taco salad if you're in the mood for something a little healthier. Served in a whole wheat tortilla shell, the taco salad has mixed greens and then you get to choose the filling. Choose beef, steak, fish, or chicken, or if you prefer a meatless option they offer a version with refried beans. Each salad includes guac (the best part) and your choice of a dressing. If you're a fan of spicy food, then Tijuana Flats is definitely the taco place you want to hit up, because they have a massive hot sauce bar with sauces that range from mild to so spicy you won't be able to feel your mouth anymore! If you need your tacos to be doused in sauce, they have an option where you can get your tacos smothered in one of their signature red, queso or verde sauces.

The next taco place I would recommend is Chipotle Mexican Grill, located off Gunn Highway in Citrus Park. While Chipotle has a little bit less of a Mexican feel then Tijuana Flats, it's no secret why their tacos and burritos are a lunch time favorite. Chipotle uses all fresh ingredients and their portion sizes are HUGE so go there when you're really hungry, or in the mood to get two meals out of one. Personally, I like to get their taco bowl when I go there because you can get so much food loaded on. I would also recommend ordering your meal online and selecting the "pick up" option because it allows you to add one extra item such as guac at no additional charge.

The third place I would recommend for tacos is Taco Bell located at the Citrus Park Town Center Mall. This place is perfect for satisfying that quick taco craving while you are shopping. For a limited time, Taco Bell has nacho fries, seasoned fries served with a nacho cheese dip. You have to try these fries as a side to one of their delicious tacos. If you're in the mood for a taco bowl, they have a chicken taco bowl that is a little bit healthier but still has the taste of a taco to meet your Taco Tuesday requirements.
